Mesiti started his equine service company as
Double M Equine Services (DMES) in
July 1988, in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Among the fastest growing English–riding
system in the Carolinas, Mr. Mesiti’s
purpose was to spread the natural method of
training horses developed in 1909, by
Federico Caprilli.
Today is the
operator of Oak Hill Equestrian Center
where the Maine cavalry School and Riding
Academy provide the complete riding
education for beginners and advanced
riders.
The Center is
developed and still developing over 43 acres
of land, with 15 dedicated to activities and
pasture. The Barn in English style is
opened for full boarding. Running
water in the pasture at all time make things
easy for the horses maintenance.
Oak Hill also
host The
Federico Caprilli Riding Club a non for
profit association which provide educational
help to his members, The Club has a variety
of activities as the
"Lake region Mounted Drill team" and the
Caprilli Riding Team (show Jumping &
Dressage).
The services
offered at Oak Hill, ranges from horse training in the
disciplines of jumping and dressage, farm
management, even farm development and of
course riding lessons.
Miles of trails are set around the farm for
the enjoyment of horses and members of
the club.
